How incongruous, the setting of the Brooklyn Bridge, juxtaposed against an abandoned warehouse, looking across from the city, and in front a sign for the Jacques Torres chocolate store. At the highest point of the canvas stands their logo representing a chocolate baker.

"Enchanted Brooklyn" is submerged in copper, making Brooklyn mysterious. Curiosity is peaked by what the baker’s intentions are, from his high observation point. He also is a figure wanting to cross the bridge and having a fun spreading his love of chocolate in his copper city. Even though, Brooklyn is architecturally industrial today, I have incorporated old silhouettes of domed structures. The warehouse has varied uses within each arch, some are bars, others are empty, ghostly. Once the baker crosses the Brooklyn Bridge, it’s a clear horizon of copper. One wonders where he will go.
